Janet Sjaarda Sheeres

Janet Sjaarda Sheeres is a historian and genealogist who works as an administrative assistant in the Psychology Department at Calvin College, and serves as associate editor of Origins: The Historical Magazine of the Calvin Heritage Hall Archives. She specializes in family history and has published in both history and genealogy journals. Currently, she is completing a book-length biography of Douwe Vander Werp, a founding cleric and leader in the Christian Reformed Church.
